The crowd of 19241 turning up at The Crabpot today were greeted by some nasty showers of rain. Chesapeake had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Boswell - Liljenander, Laine, Iftodi - Iqbal, Aybar, Sahlell, Emery, Duvgård - Björklind, Aceña Lopez.

Raiders had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. They fielded: Neto - Hutton, Nguyen, Dailey - Kalinowski, Stoye, Worrall, Foster - Betts, Cagle, Wagner.

Surprise beginning at The Fifth Dimension:

A mistake by the home sides central defence in the 2nd minute allowed Olav Johnsen to score 0 - 1 for Henrietta.

West Henrietta FC is on the road against the recently demoted Midwest United. This is certainly a mismatch on paper......but that's why they play the games!

A couple of quick and successful challenges, followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area after 41 minutes might have resulted in another goal for Bombers. However, Mikey Vera made a spectacular save. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Bombers´s Valeriu Tãtaru got himself booked. Bombers´s Elmer Washington left the field after 44 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Clay Goins. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile Paul Walls. Millard kept trying to force their way through on the right side. Vernon Alston got his chance in the 44:th minute, but the home sides left defence held his position and was able to stop the attack. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Midwest took the lead in the 49:th minute of the game by 4 to 3, as Logan Shaffer elegantly received a pass going deep, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. In the 52nd minute of the match the visitors central line of defence had to look on as Per Haraldsson dashed through, knocking home 5 - 3 for Midwest. By then Per Haraldsson was a three time scorer - a hat trick! Milko Pancic increased Midwests lead to 6 - 3 by putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. Good job Mr. Wednesday!

Now, which NCAA 1-A school sports a 5-6 145lb kicker?

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

My opponent went up 1-0 in the 8th minute... then 76 minutes later I tied it... then 4 minutes later I took the lead. Win with excellent midfield PICing at home :)

CU (Colorado) had a female kicker try out during my tenure there. Don't remember if she made the team or not.

Would it be wrong of me to say I don't remember his name?

I am pretty sure that he kicks for Temple.
