View Full Version : Where's the Cup thread?

Guess I'll start it.

I missed the first half hour of my game because my power has been out all afternoon. I didn't sell out my arena because of my league shutout loss. And I now have two injured players (one stayed on the field) but all that doesn't matter because I'm winning 1-0 :)

Out of protest, I left the cup in the 4th round. I felt my team played well enough to move on. The 'officials' said the score was all that mattered. My players took it tough, but I told them to keep there heads up. It is about how you play the game, not about wins and losses. Ah, screw it.

Where is my gun.

It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you place the blame.

P.S. The match engine sucks. ;)

I hate this stupid game.

I set my line-up right. My best attacking side went against their worst defensive side. So what happens? The winger on that side gets hurt so he has to be replaced by a backup wingback in poor form (he was my only choice due to injuries). That made my "strong side" become my weak side and I lose 3-2 in OT. I HATE INJURIES!

My goal was for you to search for days for what I wanted you to repeat. When you finally gave up and couldn't find it, you would be more pissed about that and then forget about your cup match. Your wisdom fucked up my plan. Way to go smarty pants.

the 40 star club welcomes its newest member :) also firsts for me were my magnificent central attack and a 5 star midfielder.

despite severly outclassing my opponent all over the field, i only managed to win by one point . . . but a win is a win. Best of all I got a badly needed TS boost (PIC) and I manage to advance for one more round of the USA cup :)

I'd have to say it was a good day - Dr. Dre

yosoysean - i did the same thing, brilliant attack vs. his inadequate defense, not to mention 60% possession, and still barely beat him. i should have kicked his ass. but i guess i cant complain. tough loss :( its happened before to me it can be frustrating. I lost a starting goalie one match, which cost me a division title (my only loss of the season, the guy who beat me ended up winning the division by goal differential)
