sorry, I have not read all the FOFC cup posts and I'm getting confused now.

When does the cup start?

Or in other words: Do we have to book a friendly for next Wednesday, the 3rd?

I'v read from Ardent's thread that brackets are supposed to be out today, so I'd assume (hate to assume) it starts on the 3rd...

I didn't know it was starting yet, so I went ahead and accepted a challenge this week. Guess I'm out this year.

Argh...sorry about the confusion guys. Brackets should be up shortly, Cup is slated to begin next wednesday (so Bee is potentially out). We've got about 64 teams as of right now, so it's looking like an 8 week format. We could push it back a week if necessary, but if we implement byes, that makes it a 9 week affair, and then we're getting close to the offseason.

Sterlingice and I have been working on a scheme so that some of the better FOFC teams can get in with a bye in the first round, so Bee isn't totally out in the cold.

I don't know if I'm a "better FOFC team", but if so I'd be more than happy to give up my bye slot for Bee. I can use the friendlies.
