I recently have become more interested in Hattrick Assistant Manager, after realizing that I really didn't use the program to my advantage. I have a couple of questions and also to see if anyone can add any input.
-Can I make it where it will automatically update my matches? It is pretty annyoning to have to get every match manually.
-Where I can see how long a player has been trained since his last pop. How accurate is this information and how do I update it?
Anyone have any other tips or advice? Is there some sort of tutorial somewhere? If not, someone should create one. Agreed?

Not unless you wait until after the next day's update (only about 7 hours after league matches, actually). After that, the "update player ratings" feature will get the latest match. Otherwise, you'll have to keep doing the update manually. It's a HT-thing (TM) that Loke (HAM creator) can't change.

Just be sure to pull your .hrf at least once a week (I do it almost every day) and HAM will track it for you automatically on the player's stat card (double click on a player in the player list to pull up his stat card). It's 99% accurate for me -- there is a lingering bug regarding set pieces training (new players show as having gotten some if you ever train it even though they weren't on the team when you did it).

What about matches that are in the past that I have not updated? Also do you have the link to the HAM website handy?

Try the Online-->Get Player Ratings function -- it should go back and get past matches back quite a ways (if you've never done it before). If not, then adding them manually is the only way to do it. If you're attempting to do this in order to track previous training, I wouldn't bother -- you can't set past training in HAM.

What if I have updated the .hrf file every week can I track training?

I beleive there is a training tab that keeps track of your training in a whole, but as well on the player page ther should be a section there that shows how many weeks are placed twards that specific training.

Absolutely. Are your players not showing any training?

They are now. I updated all the matches. Can I retrive all my youth pulls or is it too late? It says 'None Selected' when I have selected one every week. What about the transfer evaluation, how does it work?

You cannot update missed youth pulls. The transfer evaluation is just an estimate of market value based on sales of players with similar skills.

dola-
For youth pulls that are still around you can update their history to see if that adds them.
