I need to know if I will need to schedule a friendly. I want to see the updated brackets also.

It did start yesterday, and if you were scheduled to play , but you or your opponent had already scheduled an even for last week, then you would play this week. Essentially, week 1 was held over for 2 weeks to allow all scheduled competetions to take place.

Ok, I haven't found a way to put brackets up here well without screwing up the format. I've got an excel spreadsheet that looks pretty nice, but no where to host it. If someone wants to host it for me, I'll e-mail it to them and we can get a link up to download it so people can see what's going on with the cup.

Superman, you should schedule a random friendly this week. Since you already played your round 1 game, you have moved on to round 2. But since not everyone has done so, we are waiting until September 17th to hold the round 2 FOFC Cup matches.

I'm going to hold off on posting the Round 2 Cup match schedule until next tuesday or wednesday to avoid confusing people who haven't been keeping up with the cup status. Superman, you should probably shore up your defense against laser blasters, though...

Hmm. Yet another rival. Although you do have a decent shot because one of my back up middies will hopefully be sold by then.
