After the sale of Bethea, I began looking for midfield improvements. As a result, Tomahawks now have a new Inner-Midfielder:

Michal Rybarczyk (5756106)
21 years, passable form, healthy

A sympathetic guy who is temperamental and upright.
Has wretched experience and weak leadership abilities.

Nationality: Polska
Assessed value: 193 000 US$
Wage: 1 680 US$/week including 20% Bonus
Owner: Tomahawks
Warnings: 1

Stamina: excellent Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: excellent Passing: wretched
Winger: wretched Defending: weak
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: inadequate

I purchased him today for $306,000. I know his passing blows, but that's fine. I already have an offensive middie, and this guy will become my normal/defensive middie on the weak side.

And once again, Tomahawks know the glorious feeling of debt ;)
Only -72k though so no worries :D

I was kinda curious what kind of "star-age" (or is it star-ing) a player like that could do, sot I looked him up in your team, that's when I realized that the team you bought him from has trained him from mid-June to now, raising his value from 130k to 180k, not a big increase, but still, and then, when he sells him, he gets 306k (minus agent fees and such, so 275k net) while he paid the player 367k back in June. Net loss of the operation: 92k

Anybody understands how this team is doing the maths here??? :)

btw, -panther, great buy even with the low passing. You probably don't need the passing from your middies as much as us playmaking trainer, as you must get quite a bit better central attack ratings, even without any help from the middie position.

I thought an excellent playmaker (w/excellent stamina no less) was going to cost at least 400k. I gues I may hang on to my near excellent one until he pops to formidable then...

double btw/dola, his former team played him offensively in his last game. That tells you a bit about his understanding of skills and such things... How can you even think about playing a wretched passing middie offensively... oh well...

exactly, I think that's why I got him for what I did, considering it was prime time marketwise. his last game was played offensive. so that actually cost him between .5-1 star. either way. if he's only a 3* guy, still an improvement to me ;). I'd venture to say when played defensive, he'll get 3.5* which is nice.

As for the passing. my central attack is only excellent right now with 1 offensive middie (pass passing) 1 normal (weak passing) and my strikers were usually in shit form so it was usually 3 solid strikers with only 1 being above inad form and 1 in poor form. This week it might be higher as I'll have an excellent-solid-solid and forms are solid-solid-weak.

I'm not sure what to expect MF wise as I'll have:

excellent PM / excellent stamina
solid PM / excellent stamina
very high pass PM / pass passing / solid stamina

I'm just hoping to get inad away.

I thought I would spend more aswell. I got lucky and found a deal. most do go for 450-500k. but when I bid on this guy. a formidable PM with inad stamina went for 470k.

I would've LOVED to get him but I could only spend 430k :(

what value do middies go to formidable? ifhe bought this guy for 367k, to me that says he was excellent as I don't know many people buying solids with inad defending for over 200k...

the last time he was played normal he got 3.5* as an extra-IM. then he was set offensive for 4 weeks.

also, I don't know if it's due to form, or training, but he was listed @ 180k value. he's 193k now :)
