I don't think she likes to be reminded of her birthday. You see, her problems all started at her birth, when she was dropped, breaking her first bone. Things just kind of went down hill from there....

the story actually says they broke her collarbone trying to get her out, before she was dropped. So the bone broken on her fall was really her second broken bone...

I heard tk doesn't really have bones anymore, they filled her with metal rods.
Then again I was watching porn lastnight, so that could have memory could have crossed with a few others.

Happy birthday, kiddo. Try not to get TOO drunk. I don't think they have enough band-aid left on the east coast for a drunk Kristin.

Aww thanks guys!
I'm officially 24 years old. :) I managed to not hurt myself (a big plus) and went to RFK to watch Brazil-Norway then France-Korea in the Women's World Cup. Both were good times, though the France-Korea game was by far the more interesting of the two (especially considering the refs for the first game were AWFUL!!!!). Any which way, in my first full day of being 24 (today), I have discovered one key fact: DO NOT EAT THE CHICKEN BURRITOS AT RFK. Ugh...
Oh, and for those of you gambling on when I started getting hurt...oddly enough my first surgery didn't happen until I was 21...and then 5 more happened in rapid succession.
Anywho, thanks again everybody!

P.S. Didn't mckerney have a birthday recently? Hattie birthday to you too (unless I'm mistaken, which I might be...)

The 21st birthday began the downfall of your body into a mangled mess of flesh and metal. There is no better point in the fight to lower the drinking age to infantcy. We will build them better.
Belated congrats, tk. Currently I'm waiting for the Sweden - North Korea game to begin - a must win for the ladies after being soundly (and deservedly) beaten by the US team. Did you see that game as well?

In spite of the 3-1 score, though, I thought Sweden threatened quite a bit (even though they didn't get as many shots off). I really enjoyed their attacks. It really sucked to see Ljungberg kept getting beat up. The keeper was great, too.

Yeah I've been following all the games in the WWC. The 3-1 score US-Sweden doesn't reflect well the tightness of the game. I'm a little bummed by the injury to Brandi Chastain, she's my number 6 (i.e. when I've played I've always been number 6, too). ESPN2 is doing a double-header of soccer they say, plus I think they're showing a late game after the US game, too, so I'm not going to be paying much attention to the computer... :D

3 games, I think. Sweden-North Korean is on now. US-Nigeria around 4:30. Australia-China to close the day/night.
Svensson is a badass. She reminds me a little of Oliver Neuville. Quick little midget who's dangerous as heck. Fun. Toernqvist has made some awesome play today, too.
