Question about counter attacking

I know that if you have the better midfield it is a waste, or actually worse than a waste, because it hurts your midfield rating, but does anyone know what happens when the teams split the midfield advantage, each side winning one half? It happened in my FOFC cup match tonight.

All 4 of your chances came in the first half, when you had the possession advantage. Then again, I only had 1 chance 2nd half and capitalized on it.

That's sort of my point. Did I have a chance at getting a counter attack in the second half while you were winning possession?

My guess is no, the engine only checks for the dominant midfield at the beginning of the match, I'm just curious if anyone has any idea if it might be done differently.

I thought counter-attack only worked after a missed chance by my team, and there were none in the 2nd half. Your team did much better when they just played straight-up with the possession advantage.

You're right, it would have only worked after a missed chance, but my question is, would it have worked in the second half if there had been any missed chances.
