I've been looking for a good winger prospect for awhile now and it seems like they are all going for ungodly prices. I run 3-4-3 with 3 IMs so I could use a gooooood winger to help negate the loss of one winger and with a little work, I think I've found him:

David Jonsson
153 000 US$, 18 years, solid form
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities

[Powerful]

Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: excellent Passing: poor
Winger: passable Defending: poor
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: wretched

I bought him today for $313,000. about 200-250k less than most were going for. I'll be altering my training for the remainder of the season as my strikers are good enough to get me through for now. This week I wanted to train stamina for him but with our big match against Bonafide next sunday I wouldn't have a week to train general to try to hold of the form hits. Instead, I'll be training winger this week and stamina the next, then most likely winger till the end of the season, or atleast till my wingers all pop.

His passing sucks but I didn't get him for an attacking boost, I wanted a good playmaking winger and by next season, I'll have one :D

I still haven't decided how I'm going to do this.

1. train winger for the rest of this season, then go back to scoring. if I go this way, he'll most likely be solid winger / excellent playmaking. my strikers at the end of next season should be 3 outstandings for my primaries with one of them being within weeks of brilliant.

2. train winger till he hits excellent winger skill. should be probably around week 5-6 of next season and then pick up on scoring. this way he'd be excellent winger & playmaking. my strikers should be 1 low oustanding and 2 mid formidables as my primaries.

my strikers are young enough to be able to deal with either so I'm leaning towards #2. he's still young enough that I've got next season and the season after to work on him before training him becomes a drawn out process.

IF he's a keeper (sounds like he is) and you have a half-way decent alternative (or can buy one), then you might try just training wingers during your Cup run.
