Alright, lets kick it off:
Im playing a team a tier below the best of my series(me included)...im MOTS because i have about 3-4 weeks before my final match which is the only one i worried about...i should win easily, but this team upset one of the big boys two weeks ago...i have about a 20-30 NSI advantage on any given day...
The match is in progress, 9 minutes of the first half have been played.
22770 spectators arrived at Jim Cooney Stadium, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Millard started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Vera - Clement, Colon, Olivas - Norris, Moore, Dean, Walls, Alston - Loyd, Wells.
Bombers started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Cutler - Cheuk-Man, Goetz, Tãtaru - Mejer, Dotson, Torres, Moore, Martinsson - Langford-Young, Sourd.
His place, and i am the bombers. How about you guys?

I am sooooo screwed:
burganation took the lead by 1 - 0 after a penalty in the 4:th minute. Dries Ayanides scored from the penalty spot.
Don't understand it, my team has just fallen apart as of late. :(

Some quick foot work on the left side of the field in the 2nd minute left Intercourse´s John Atkins completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors.
Need a win here. Coming off a MOTS win against the top team and in a 3-way tie for 2nd. I'd consider this season a bust if I don't finish at least 2nd.
I'm facing the 6th place team by the way. All 4 matches in my series are a top 4 team vs. a bottom 4 team.

23 minutes, 1 match report to tell me I'm losing. I hate my team.

Spoke too soon:
The referee showed Fightings Tom Sheets the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
I hate this game.

How about we score?
burganation were forced to a substitution as Miguel Abaeto couldn´t continue playing due to the rough treatment.
I hate the other team.

well crap...
After a fatal mistake from the away teams right side defense in the 26:th minute, an alert Stuart Redmond bagged the ball, evening the score to 1 - 1.

Quick retaliation and almost a quicker re-retaliation...
What ever got into Craig Adair, the crowd mumbled, as he suddenly struck a cross pass through the own defense - ending up right in front of Intercourse´s John Atkins, who easily put the ball away for 1-2. After 28 minutes Stuart Redmond got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn´t get the shot away.

Rockville´s Stuart Redmond put his head to a high ball coming in from the right in the 30:th minute, but the ball went wide. Intercourse´s Per Selström left the field after 30 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Billy Bob Connelly.
Oh no... solid PM in poor form in for formidable PM :(

A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area, but at last burganation´s Daniel Mock was able to shove the ball in. 2-0.
Have I mentioned my hate for my team?

up 1-0 on PIC against a brand new team, though he has already made a half dozen or so purchases.

3-1 lead in my biggest match ever. MOTS, obviously.

A speedy charge from the left side of the field put burganation lead up with 3 - 0. Daniel Mock finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle.
Sigh.

Fear of God - New Jersey Giants 2 - 0:
Fear put their lead ahead another goal as Lasse Läfflod struck home the 2 - 0 goal, after an attack from the left setting him up unmarked with the keeper.

Fear of God - New Jersey Giants 3 - 0:
The home sides Dick Quintana twisted a free kick home in the 37:th minute, putting Fear ahead 3 - 0.

Fighting fought on and, in the 38:th minute Victor Brown was able to reply with 3 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side finished off by an incredibly clever chip. 41 minutes into the game Lindsey Kim had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Ernest Grayson. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Fighting held the ball, with a clear 56 percent possession rate.
I still hate this game.

I'm up 3-0 in a PIC match against my weakest competition. What's up with no one being in IRC Chat?

At the beginning of the game, Shaw_Shanksters appeared to already have taken this victory to the bank.
:(
Hey, Illini maybe your riding your team a little to hard and not letting them PIC every once in a while.

West Henrietta FC is currently playing the 1st place team in v.53 and we are up 3-0 at the first half. Although our newest acquisition, Rafael Naja received two yellows in the first half and was sent off. I am MOTSing this one as a win may get me a second place finish.

0 - 1 was the half-time score. Shaw_Shanksters held the ball, with a clear 64 percent possession rate.

Checking my wifes match, I think she'll win, her opponent is running a 6-0-4.
She's up 4-0 at intermission. I think she PIC'd it, good choice since whatever midfield rating she put up would win.
The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 4. Buffalo, bringing the final ball possession rate to 100 percent, dominated the battle.

Ruskies are up 1-0 at the break with 81% possession.

My teams worst enemy is overconfidence. We should still win this one and hopefully score three or four goals next half.

crap- I am down 3-0 at halftime, he has held 63% possesion. If I can get 1 more win this season I can clinch 4th place, better than where I had thought I would finish.

Best minute of the match for me...oh wait...the only minute anything happened...all good!
A free kick aimed at the keepers far post almost gave Bombers the lead in the 45:th minute, but the ball just wasn´t able to squirm it´s way through the defensive wall. In the 45:th minute the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending and Roy Langford-Young put the ball away for 0 - 1. The visitors Roy Langford-Young took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side´s goalie and full backs in the 45:th minute. 0 - 2 for Bombers. The structure of the game started to change as Bombers decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Millard, bringing the final ball possession rate to 53 percent, dominated the battle.
I dont like the midfield, especially since i pulled an excellent last week and he has never come close to that..hmm...heres is to a good 2nd half!

Millard had a shot to the post in the 47:th minute, on a curved free kick.
They are fighting back now...i hate when my defensive coach pulls back...

A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Henrietta´s Rich Taylor putting the lead up to 4 - 0.
Certainly hoping to avenge a 6-4 loss in week #4.

ok.. I can breathe now...
The visitors Boštjan Èadež took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side´s goalie and full backs in the 68:th minute. 1 - 3 for Intercourse.

Midwest showed some good morale and were, in the 69:th minute, able to reduce the score to 4 - 1 as Logan Shaffer got past the home sides full backs straight in front of the goal.
Ok, ok, not yet time to panic. Remember I lost a wingback due to a red card in the first half.

Fear of God - New Jersey Giants 4 - 0:
In the 74:th minute of the match the visitors central line of defence had to look on as Jesper Danielsson dashed through, knocking home 4 - 0 for Fear.

The away team reduced the score to 3 - 2, as Aaron Phelps struck home, set up well by a play from the left in the 53rd minute. burganation put themselves up 4 - 2 when Lee Boling broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. After this burganation lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. burganation will have to do without Charles Shipman for a time due to a bad foot injury. He was substituted by Thad Stephens. The away team reduced the score to 4 - 3, as Charles Guevara struck home, set up well by a play from the left in the 70:th minute.
I hate this game. At least we injured three of their players. Now all we need to do is score a goal or two in the next 11 or so minutes while holding them to not scoring. I hate my team.

Yeah, a 4-1 win with a 59/55 possession rate and I played the final 55 minutes a man down. It was Midwest United's first loss of the season as they entered the match (10-0-0) with a +54 GD including a 6-4 win over myself earlier in the season. They have only given up 10 goals all year with 8 coming by WHFC!!! :D

For those of you wondering, the 6-0-4 doesn't work so well.
Buffalo, bringing the final ball possession rate to 100 percent, dominated the battle.
Wife's team won 8-0
Ruskies won an exciting 1-0 match.
