I'm thinking this person MUST have made a typo:
2003-10-12
NK Vialit Trzin offered 60 001 US$ for Stu Muniz and thereby took the lead in the bidding.

Deadline is 10/13/2003 at 04:20

The only bid before this is one for 5000 US$ (opening price). He really isn't that great, so I guess we'll see how things happen:

Stu Muniz (17033790)
17 years, passable form, healthy
A popular guy who is temperamental and dishonest.
Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities.

Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 18 000 US$
Wage: 580 US$/week
Owner: Real Terps FC
Warnings: 0

Stamina: poor Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: wretched
Winger: poor Defending: poor
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: wretched

My youth pull 2 weeks ago went for about double what he should have.

Gotta love nOObs!

I don't think it's a newbie. I have a feeling the person was trying to outbid the previous bid by 1 001 and didn't properly erase one zero before he did.

That sucks...but still arguably a safe bid. 17 yo passable isn't too bad at 60k, though it is late in the season.

It's not a very good one, though, Vince. The passing is wretched and he only has 2 more weeks of "regular" training weeks (3, if the team has a Q-game) before turning 18 (which, admitted, isn't that big of a deal).

Yeah, it's definitely not a good buy.

Well, somebody outbid him (I too thought he made a typo with an extra 0). Sold for 62001 US$.

I'm not going to complain
