I am running for Canadian National Trainer. After discussing it with my family, knowing the mudslinging that can come from such a campaign, I decided that I could help out North, North Dakota. See the Canadian Conference for my speech and hopefully see you sorry suckas in the WC as I lead the great Canadians to Victory!

As The_Afoci's self-appointed campaign manager, I'm looking for the FOFCs support in our bid to gain control of Canada, I mean the National Trainer position.
We are really only looking for the Canadian FOFCer's support. From the rest of federation we would like you to fill the Canadian conference with many posts, to make it look like there is more support than there actually is. Thanks for your help.

That and some public relations. Sadly right now, my grass roots/groundswell campaign has angered some Canadians who are dismissing my campaign as a joke.
BoB, my campaign manager has assured me that the latest polls do have some votes for me. That seems promising.

The campaign has hit a snag. Mod-Buggle has warned me through HT-mail that my posting in threads other than my own would no longer be tolerated. Must mean they think I am turning the people.

The swedish coach had two teams and was kicked out.
To be serious here for just one moment, I would like to say that this whole experience which was done with some as a campaign of humor in an attempt to get in the top ten, has really shown me that some people take this game way too seriously. I am not saying anyone on this board, but with the way I was treated by one mod and some of the users for jokes was assine. This one MOD who also has a love for dogs went as far as to HT mail me a few things I probably shouldn't repeat considering his past of banning people for things they did on other boards. I will run for Canadian National Coach, Canadian U20 Coach and every Canadian office until I am done with hattrick. It will be my not so silent protest to the way that community is run.
If they locked out a coach because of comments...The Afoci wouldn't last 2 minutes. :)

Perhaps it is because I am accostomed to The Afoci and his Army of Crawfish with Blasters Instead of Claws, but I thought that quite a few of the Canadians took his comments too seriously. I read that thread and was laughing my ass off.

Raven Hawk, I agree. My main point is that I was blasted for attempting to run a campaign based on humor rather than I will play one winger towards the middle, one offensive. I even quoted two movies in reguards to my strategies that were then taken as me not knowing how to do anything.
I was just amazed at the seriousness that people, especially a MOD who felt it was up to him to essentially tell me to quit or face banning. Then after a few HT-mails I was allowed to post in my thread only. I haven't checked, but I posted in a different thread for all the people running, but I am probably locked out.
But I will be much more ready to disperse some humor for the next election in Canada. Perhaps I am taking all the negativity wrong, who knows.

I am not locked. Although, just so everyone knows, if I do get locked, the dynasty will go on! In case you didn't notice, it really doesn't follow hattrick to close and I could easily make up crappy YPs.
You don't have to make up crappy YPs. You've had enough for one man's lifetime. :)

Every type-a alpha weasel has a bunch of follower weasels willing to do his dirty work for him. I don't think it's so much the game as it is general message board behavior (this one excepted).
Anyways, I haven't read any conference in a few months, but you just gave me a reason to add the Canadian one.

I had a stretch of about 5 in a row last season that were either solid in a useful stat or 17 y/o passable. Since then they have been bad.

Nope, Desnudo. Once Storm_J (not sure if he still plays) and I got a thread over 200 posts just between the two of us. And keep in mind this was on the old tree-style conferences. So after awhile we started hiding replies and seeing if the other could find them :)

I didn't attempt to make a mockery of the election, I attempted to run a humorous campaign. I am sick of everyone saying I will listen to the community, I will encourage the owners to continue training, blah blah blah. Everyone does that, but not everyone loves horses. That is where I excel.

Don't we need a super secret meeting to decide on who gets the FOFC voting block. Are you sure the others would go along with this. No doubt TP will get the backing, but I have a feeling people wouldn't consider me a legit candidate.

I don't think Ardent would accept. He has stated he wouldn't have the time. It would be great though to vote in someone who has done nothing in hattrick with the exception of piss of Canada.
It was because he was on board at the time. He should be able to now.
Guys, I know I'd love to run but at this time I just couldn't do it right now. I know in the past I have wanted to do it. Military commitments kept me from doing so.
However, it's just not something I could handle right now. Instead of military commitments I have family commitments to hold to. Nothing I regret, mind you. Talking to my wife has never been more thrilling. It's like we just met!
I had great and big plans for helping FOF and HT once I got back. I had started the Raider dynasty back up, but have since stopped again.
I'm not saying I'm heading of FOF and HT. By no means do I plan to give this great group of guys up. But I don't want to take on any extra responsibilities.
That said, my wife's out of town on business until November 1st. You'll see a whole lot of me until then, but I'm not sure how much you'll see of me after that. Do note I won't be leaving though!

I will run in the USA in a few seasons... depending if I want U20 or Nats... it should be 22 or 23.
For now, I plan on building South Korea up. I will also start a dynasty thread if I get reelected.

I think your path is clear.
The tie in to Louisiana would make you a shoe in there. Crawfish and such are big there. Louisiana was purchased from France, ergo, you should run in France. That's what they want you to think.
Napoleon gipped the Spanish out of Louisiana for a non-existant duchy in Italy. Another reason why trading in HT should not be allowed. At it's base then, it was a Spanish colony.
Now, we all know who the most famous Spanish person was, right? Ask 10 people, and 8 will tell you Christopher Columbus. Obviously then, you should run in Italy....which brings us back to the non-existant duchy that Napoleon traded for Louisiana. . .

I highly doubt anyone outside of the USA would win in the USA actually. I don't think that someone in the top Sweden division would even win here (mainly cause we wouldn't trust them).

I thought of running in sweden, but the language barrier would kill me. I thought of seeing if 3ric would translate for me, but at the time I was too worried about the stir I caused with MOD Buggle and figured anymore publicity could bring down the Hattrick Gods on me. But now...
