How much can I expect to pay for an IM that is 17yo pulled on week 1 or 2. with solid playmaking?

since we're talking about 17yos i'm probabyl going to have two openings in my GK training program at the start of next season. How much do we figure 17yo solids or passables will go for?

Airhog, depends on the country and if the player is u20 caliber. In the U.S., a 17 yo passable PM will go between 100-500K depending on secondaries. In Vietnam, he could get up to a million.

well looks like I will try to find some decent passables. I really cant drop 500k on a player, maybe I can find a few that drop through the cracks. Or I may just resign myself to finding 18yo solids.

Sometimes, an 18yo solid that was just pulled can be a pretty good gamble (chance of buying closer to excellent than you'd expect)...

If you can't really afford a good 17 year old at the start of the season, it's worthwhile buying 17 year old passable PMs now for a bargain rate and get a few extra weeks of PM training this season. You'll be able to buy much better secondaries. Then train the guys for a few seasons, sell them, and buy your uber trainees.

That's my plan at least.

Solid, probably $1.5-2.5 mil. Passable around $800k or so.

So what do you think this will do to the deflationary tendencies of prices for 17 yos after week 1? For instance, will week 2 17 yos still be outrageously priced, or will they be just a little less than week 1, or will they be back to normal once all of the 17 yo solids from week 1 are pulled?

From what I say this season, it dropped a little bit each week. Next season I would expect week 1 and 2 prices to be very high (much higher than last season) and drop sharply soon after. People will pay a premium for the potential U20 players that are pulled in the first few weeks.
