Rejoicing ensues.

He was perhaps the most hated MOD in the history of the world. He was a baiting bastard who was heavy handed in all he did. I wished him good luck in the future because at the moment he is still Mod and will probably get a few banned prior to checking out. In my one personal encounter with him, he was threatening and very heavy handed. He went as far as to insult me for my Campaign in Canada. Sadly, his resignation comes after Canada loses two highly respected people and one who was an up and comer, amongst many more.

they are people banned from hattrick. the board is the canadian conference in hattrick.

go to Canada in Hattrick, there's a link to the right, second link from the top, says "National Conference Canada", every country has one...

Canada is a fun one too. A lot less serious than the USA conference. I blame Spidur and GM-Buckeye!

there may be some deleted message, and/or messages in other threads. I remember that The Afoci said he was HT-mailed by said mod and told not to go post in other people's election threads...

I like the Canadian conference better than the US one too. Especially with Buggle gone. I had heard bad things, but it is tough to believe how evil he is until you experience him.

If you're interested, here's a very long article written from one of the banned teams. It explains a lot, albeit from one person's viewpoint. It's a shame things went this way because ArsenalPSX and Canucks SC were both great guys, and active members in my Federation.

From my experience, addict4psx was a total prick. Actually made me smile when I learned that he had been banned. I've never had a problem with buggle either. I actually received a warning from Spidurman once for posting in my OWN election thread once. Yet I don't despise him for it (in fact we talk frequently). Not that I always agree with the decisions of MODs and GMs, but if one acts in a way that is unsatisfactory to the HTs he will be removed. It has happened before.

So, in conclusion... Who cares?

I never had a problem with addict4psx. He was always nice to me, he always went on and on about how great he thought my friendly cup was, he made all my logos, and actually gave members of my fed first crack when he started the logo thing. But I think it helped me in that I didn't look too deeply into all what was going on. Tony posted in my fed forum about people displaying the Canucks SC logo in support of his cause or whatever, but I declined. Hattrick is a game to me, I don't need stress from it. Well, several fed members did display Canucks' logo, and at least one team from Holland was banned from the forum by MOD-Buggle (we never did figure that one out).

So strange things were going on all over the place up north.

Well, he was once getting involved with the int-htradio fed apoc and I started. However he threw a fit and quit because he didn't like our "power-hungry ops" in the IRC channel. He was a jerk about things too (For example, once he joined and immediatly left with the parting message "And a big 'fuck you' for not issuing an apology"). Needless to say, that didn't help my opinion of him.

Yeah, that wouldn't help my opinion much either. He mentioned a few times about how he had issues with the people in LOTA and other groups, but I never pressed the issue. Guess he just took things too seriously.

He made great logos, though.
