Timing of resetting a bot team?

One of the new teams (one of the auto-promoters, nonetheless) is an ownerless squad. I should have a decent shot to beat him as is, but those two games becoming walkovers would certainly help my cause a ton.

So when does an ownerless team get reset?

If you are in division 4, the bot will be reset prior to the first match. If you are in 5, the team will be given to a human owner at any time.

Last season, when it was basically all bots coming through, it seemed as though they were basically going through league-by-league starting at V.1. As I recall, the replacements came pretty quickly in V.84, a check of the fixtures list shows that the series was filled in before the first league match. It'll probably go even quicker this time, since there are a lot more human-controlled teams among the autopromoters.

Yeah, I'm in IV; that early reset would rule, cuz I'm not gonna win much. :)

In IV and above, lineups are reset before week 1, week 8, and qualifiers, IIRC. So that ownerless team of yours should be a walkover the entire season. Hopefully, you don't get nailed on the schedule like TiMeWaR did. (Er, I think that's who it was.)

I get screwed with a walkover the second half of the season. The team I play each week, plays the walkover the week before.
