head coaches and young talent

As I understand it, the head coaches and coordinators only "use" the ratings that are in red. That makes sense, but it seems strange that young talent isn't in red for the head coach (it is for both OC and DC). Seems like the head coach should affect the development of young talent in addition to the OC and DC.

It seems that the coordinators' role is essentially just to develop players - and that the YT rating is part and parcel of this.
