Too many ties?

Quick glance, but there always seems to be atleast 2 games a year where there are ties. Too many.

I will have some hard stats later.

I have about 150. Some of them have cartoons on them. Oh...wrong ties.

A little history, I don't know how much an OPU has to do with this, but I will include that this began as an OPU anyway.

Now I am sure pure coincidence has lead to a higher average than some people. But still that is alot of ties.

This has happened in every FOF I have played. But I still haven't played FOF2k4 enough to really say anything about the ties.

I also remember starting with an OPU in FOF4 produced a lot more ties than usual.

One of the seasons (and I've only played a few so far), one team had 3 ties all by itself.

I noticed the same thing. It is not rare to see teams with 2 ties in a season for me atleast.

I haven't had any ties in my career yet, but I'm only 3 years in so far.

My league has had five ties in eight seasons. It is definitely higher than real life, but not high enough to even make it an issue to me. Shorty's hypothesis about OPU's creating more ties makes complete sense to me.
