WOW - 3 TD's in 26 seconds

In a divisional round playoff game against Tampa, my Eagles have scored 3 touchdowns in 26 seconds.

A 4 yard touchdown run with 6:48 to go in the 3rd.
Tampa's first play following the kickoff was a pass that was intercepted and returned 40 yards for a touchdown with 6:39 to go. Their first play following that kickoff was fumbled and we recovered on the 28. Our next play was a 28 yard touchdown pass with 6:22 to go in the third.


Talk about shell-shock. :) We went on to a 62-10 win. Oh, this was without me calling plays or using any weird game plan.

I ended up winning the Bowl that season in a true classic against Houston. My Eagles went ahead with a field goal with 25 second left in the game. Houston had a decent return and then a 29 yard pass play and hit a 48 yard field goal as time expired to send it to overtime. We had a 6 and a half minute drive for the winning field goal (thank you coin toss) to start the overtime.


On a note about Tampa. They have made the playoffs a lot but seem have the worst luck so far. They are the opponent listed in the records section for playoff games for most points scored against, fewest points allowed, most rushing yards and fewest rushing yards allowed. They were all set in each of their 4 playoff appearances to make them 2-4 overall in the playoffs with a different negative playoff record set in each of their 4 losses.
