I saw this commerical once again tonight and after seeing glaring after glaring review of this game (a 9.6 from IGN to name one), I'm wondering if I need to go and pick this one up tomorrow while I'm Christmas shopping?
Anyone have this game? and if so, how is it??
Thanks,
Todd

One of my roommates picked it up, and played the hell out of it until he beat it. I watched him at various times and it looked very cool (although somewhat repetitive...I guess it depends on taste though).
Only problem is...(and I hope I'm not giving anything away here)...he called the ending one of the worst in video game history.
Hopefully his viewpoint is in the minority though.

A bad ending would stink! Although the game looks amazing from the pics I have seen.

Got this for the XBox a couple of weeks ago...well truth be told, my kid got it with some birthday money. Haven't played it, but it's an amazing looking game, and he's been playing the heck out of it.

Looks like a great game, but like quite a few games lately, it's really short (I think IGE said 10-15 hours). Beyond Good and Evil sounded the same way, too.
I'll probably pick up both when they hit $20.

WussGawd reminds me of a friend of mine who told his daughters that college football games were cartoons so that they would watch with him and not turn the channel.

i think it might be the minority. everyone, ive talked to at work (CompUSA) who has bought the game (customers) or played it says the ending is one of the greatest in recent years.

Quite possible. I should have prefaced my comment with "My roommate is a damn fool, but..."

ROFL. :)
Well, actually, truth be told, I tend to keep the laptop in the living room, so I quite often wind up seeing the kids playing with it. That is, when I'm not fiddling with the thing myself. :)

I've tried this. It doesn't work.
