Sorry in advance for the offtopic post – just thought some of FOFC’s members might be interested.
The JBL Fantasy Basketball League (http://www.totaljbl.com) is looking for two GMs to take over the franchises of the Fireballs and the Renegades. The Renegades were recently established by FOFC’s very own CubsFan915, but were abandoned when CubsFan left to pursue another “business career.” The Fireballs, on the other hand, are the JBL’s oldest and one of the most successful franchises in the league, but have fallen on tough times.
I’m looking for two GMs who are interested in running a team. The only real requirements are to be active and to have an interest in basketball and/or statistics, which should be a given around here ;) The JBL has been running for 12 years and a total of 25 seasons. We’re into our 26th season (2015) and right about to get into the Free Agency and Draft period, so there’s a chance for a GM to really build a team. The league uses a sim I created called ‘JBL’ which simulates all games, etc. There is also a client program that GMs run called the JBL Studio which is coming out soon - it allows GMs to change strategies, rosters, view statistics etc.
