Hi guys. I thought about putting this in the multiplayer forum, but since I am not at the point of joining one yet, this is probably the best place for it.
I'm asking some questions of those who have formed FOF MP leagues; at this point it's not important if you've started or not. Thanks for the replies; here we go:
1) How many games per week are simmed?
2) Is anyone trying a league with less than 32 players? If so, how many do you have?
3) What initial rosters are you using - real, fictional names, OPU, or custom/historical?
4) Is there an initial draft?
5) Will TCY amateur drafts be used?
6) What are the cap increase and injury settings?

in the eNFL we have:
2 games per week, mon and sat
we have 32 players
real teams and rosters
no initial draft
not using TCY drafts now, but many like the idea
using default cap, inflation settings, and injury settings
Opening day is tomorrow!

The Front Office Football League (FOFL) is in the developmental stages. Teams and cities have been chosen and ownership groups selected. All 32 teams have human ownership and in many cases, co-owners or coordinators.
A league commissioner (DukeRulesMAB) and Conference Presidents (Allosaurus and Fritz) have been selected. We have had an initial referendum on some gameplay issues, including inflation and injuries (which I think will be set at half of default and 100, respectively.)
Our player pool was generated via a vbscript created by one of our owners. Currently in the initial stages of our player allocation draft, we are drafting via the forum and interspersing about five different live sessions over the next few weeks. The final stages of the draft will likely be completed via list.
The plan is to sim twice per week during the regular season, with a special playoff schedule to be determined. As with its sister league, FOBL, all sims will be live.
We have a number of great FOF strategists in the league, including Daimyo, ez, QuikSand, Morgado, Fritz, Ctown, and Pinetar. We have a designated independent league administrator (cuervo72) who handles issues such as exporting for absent commisioners and the like.
Anyhow, the league is in its early stages so there will probably be more to report later next month...

In the Dean Houston Memorial Football League (DHMFL), we are headed into week 3 of preseason simming. 2 games per week, real NFL rosters, all 32 teams are owned, standard injury/inflation settings. I don't plan on using TCY drafts.
I am the Commissioner.

Thanks for the input, everyone. If anyone has anything else to add, please do. It's all been very helpful.

1) We sim about 3 games a week (MWF), more if people get their updates in faster.
2) Our league is 5 players (it's an office league). Our only real issue with a league this size is that you can't trade with the AI at all, so I expect we'll see very little trading in the league.
3) Real rosters.
4) No, default starting rosters.
5) I've simmed about 8 or 9 seasons worth of TCY and have saved off end-of-season saved games and draft files.
6) Default cap/injury settings.
