clutchfans.net is getting me obsessed with wanting to do something as cool as them. Well I don't know any cfm code, but I might be interested in learning. Could anyone point me in the right direction on how to get started?

That site is beautiful - I wonder how he did all those stats from all the players in rocket's history.

I know. And it seems like he's got everything automated too. Boom, Weatherspoon was traded for today, input a few things, and bam, the site does the rest. Weatherspoon is already on the roster screen, already has his pages, and even is listed with the "Who else wore Weatherspoon's #?" and vice versa. Crazy work.

Did you see that NJ picked up Eddie Griffin? I wonder if going back home will straighten the dude out. Hopefully so...

So to review the draft day trade:

The Nets traded: Eddie Griffin (cut by Rockets, signed back with Nets)

The Rockets traded: 3 1st Rd. picks

Who won that deal?

It sounded good at the time. I was so excited about getting him. Sigh... :(

The problem is Eddie never really was straight. He almost got kicked out of high school for fighting. The only reason he graduated was so that he could go play for Seton Hall the next year. And as someone else reminded me in another thread, he punched Seton Hall PG Ty Shine because he wasn't getting the ball enough. I don't really think Griffin can be straightened out by coming to NJ.

I think he can - with a pay cut and understanding that this is probably his last chance in the NBA - I think he will realize it is shape up or ship out to being a cashier at McDonalds.

I think that must be the programming language that Clutch uses to make the site since that's what Shorty seemed to be focusing his post about...

Cold Fusion. Kind of a dead language unless you're a die hard Macromedia guy.

Yeah, I noticed that the same day I posted this thread. It's ridiculous, but the board is a mess. I joke about it here, but a lot of the frequent posters over there do seem to think they are better than the others.

Yeah they do. Every time I go visit over there I come back to this place happier with the way it's run over here...
