Yes, I will be rooting for Big Blue today. Just wish that our special teams should up against Oregon.
How hard do you think the BCS is rooting for UM to win today? Any payoffs to officials before game time? hmmmmm
It should be a very good game unlike these early bowls today.

LET'S GO BLUE!
Everyone is picking USC to win, but as Corso would say, not so fast my friend.
Cal ran north/south all over the Wild Bunch Part 2, well, Michigan is just a TAD bit better then that. Say what you want, but OSU had a much, MUCH better D, and U of M had their with them, but USC is different, because they have an offense.
Still, no secondary in America is as deep as Michigans, and with two excellent safties and very solid corners, I don't see USC torching us every time they touch the ball.
Experience will pay dividence in this game, and Michigan's got it at QB, RB, O-Line, Secondary, and Lloyd Carr is one of the more underrated coaches (as far as at big schools), he's 3rd in winning percentage vs top 10 teams.
All things to ponder.
I am rooting for USC!!! Mike Williams and Reggie Bush have made me a fan of their team until they leave. Side-note I will predict all the games
Rose Bowl
USC 31- UM 26
Fesita Bowl
KSU 31- OSU 20
Orange Bowl
FSU 23- Miami 21
Sugar Bowl
LSU 17- OU 7

USC's loss to Cal was a close loss while Michigan was down by some 27 points to Oregon

I'll firmly be rooting for USC to win, hopefully by about 50.
1.) As Illinois guy, I hate Michigan football
2.) I have a pre-season wager with a buddy on NCAA. He got Oklahoma and Miami, I got the field
3.) I want to see the current system die a miserable death and USC getting a share of the title would certainly help that cause
I really have found my enjoyment of college football diminished over the last couple of years by the miserable BCS system. Three of the last four years they haven't gotten the right two teams in the title game (I know, who am I to say who the right teams are). I also share the feelings of the earlier posters who commented on crappy Jan 1 bowl games. Good bowl games are being played on Dec 27 because of all the conference tie-ins while rotten games are found on New Years Day. And games are moved post Jan 1 as well. The system stinks.
OK, got that out of my system. GO USC!

Look at the Michigan/Oregon game and the Michigan/Iowa game, special teams KILLED us those two games, but after that, our special teams played good again.

Don't know who I want to win. On the one hand, I'd like to see Michigan lose, and on the other I want all these idiots who think USC deserves to be in the national championship game shut up (ie, John Saunders, Terry Bowden, and what's his name argueing about who's the bigger dumbass in the pregame).
I hope both teams forfeit.

Well, Southern Cal DOES deserve to be there over LSU, but it's the way it goes

#3 is the entire reason I am for USC. I couldn't care less about either of the two teams, but I want this BCS to be as screwed up as possible. Maybe someday enough heat will get put on the big wigs so that we can have a playoff.

Over all I think the PAC-10 showed in all the bowl games that the conference was underrated this year (Well besides UCLA but they were 6-6).
USC beating UM should solidify this.

Yep... I kept hearing how the Pac-10 was so weak of a conference. Washington State beating Texas hopefully shut some of that up.

USC was amazing today, I give them that.
USC got a lot of breaks, Michigan didn't get many, and the ones we did get, we didn't capitalize on.
I do think USC got A LOT of push offs, but it didn't matter, we coudn't stop them on 3rd down at all in the second half.
If we could've played D today, we had the game. We pushed around USC's D, but we didn't pass protect when it was needed.
All in all, a solid game, lots of big hits, but USC had the superior team. A win they obviously deserved.

This actually proved nothing, Texas was far more overrated than even TCU.

It's that West Coast football sucks mentality that those in the midwest and south have. Since the games are played late in their time zones, they rarely watch and get to see what kind of football is being played.
Same thing can be said for basketball, ie Gonzaga getting screwed in their seeding for last year's tourney.

Exactly... and they tend not to like that throw everything around stuff... unless it's done by Florida :p.
