Some here may remember that I loved the first Deus Ex game, for those who don't remember now you know ;). I have recently got a new PC due to my old one dying. It's a screamer of a machine and is great for gaming, Call of Duty is great on it. Pumped at the idea of trying uot Deus Ex: Invisible War, I picked it up with some Christmas money that I got and just installed it.
I go to play it ad get a message that it won't work with my graphics card because it's a gForce4 MX. I tried the web site to see if there was anything that I could do and at the end of the FAQ about the situation there is a link that says: Solution: 1.1 Patch. I try the patch and get the same error. As it turns out, this is just a solution for other game issues and not for the video card problem. Well this just sucks!!! I just shelled out 50 bucks for something that is seems I have no prayer of using.
You would think they would have a lousy setup option to allow you to turn off the option that 'non-compliant' cards can't do. I knew my PC had a gForce4 in it so I had assumed that since the box said that a gForce3 would work...
Oh well, live and learn I guess.
And this to follow the dissapointment of the Seahawks losing (they were always my second team, but I liked it better when they were in the AFC and the odds of them meeting the Eagles in the playoffs were only if both made the Super Bowl, in other words when hell froze over).
