A small ? about FOF 4th Edition

What was the main problem with it?

I'm asking this before my decsion to purchase FOF 2004.

I'm playing 4th edition now with TCY draft files, doesn't seem to have any real problems. I've had no crashes, although after exiting the scoreboard screen, a minor glitch comes up but clears up after minimizing the game.

I tell ya what's wrong with it. You can't cheat as easy. No getting around bad cap decisions.

Are you talking about FOF4 or FOF 2004?

I think FOF4 is easier to get around bad cap decisions.

The main problem with FOF4 seems to be that the changes that was made was a little too subtle, in the public eye. But it's easy to forget it wasn't FOF2002 that was upgraded, it was FOF2 that was the true predecessor. With that in mind, FOF4 was a huge upgrade, and several things that people's been discovering about FOF2004 was implemented in FOF4 already.
