Poker Tonight (1/13)

Anyone playing tonight? I joined the PokerStars $2 multi-table tournement. Regging for it just ended. (I loaded up PS and there was 1 minute left.)

Already up to $3950. I get an open-ended straight draw (JT in my hand, 89K is the flop) off the flow and call a $160 bet. I get the 7 on the turn (got my straight) and push in half of my stack. Two people call. Q lands on the river and now I a 9-K straight. I go all-in. One folds the other calls. He had a pair of Kings.

A couple of really good pocket hands that flopped nothing have reduced me to 3560.

Just as I post that, I win a 500 pot with a pair of Queens. I'm at 4010. My current position is 29 out of 1213

A series of crap hands, calls to see flops that gave me nothing and blinds being taken from me have taken me down to 3275. Blinds are 50/100 right now.

At the break, I'm at 3025. I think I've seen two flops in the last half hour or so. I'm 281 out of 655 right now. Blinds are going to 75/150 after the break as well, so I'm going to have to start getting something worth playing.

I entered the AP freeroll too. Let's see if the damn thing will connect this time...

On 2nd break at the PS $2 tourney.

I was VERY close to being eliminated. I then won a pot that got me back near 3k. Then I was dealt KK and go all-in. Called by someone with JTs. Two 10's on the flop and I think I'm done for...then a K on the river giving me the full house.
Later I get dealt QTs and limp in to see the flop. The flop is QQQ. Damn. I check the first time by and someone bets 2k. I call. Off the turn, I check, he checks. The river comes K and I go all-in. He calls and I double up to 13k, which is where I'm at now.

Stats: Stack is 13,075, 46 out of 208. Blinds will be 300/600 Ante 50 after the break.

The freeroll I'm barely paying attention to. 1733 is my stack there with 423 players left.

I'm going to finish in the top 100 (99 people left) so I'm going to win some money. I'm at around 7250 and the blinds are 600/1200 with 75 Ante and it is KILLING me. I'll be out soon, I think.

Also, I'm out of the AP freeroll. I was not paying attention and I just decided to go all-in with AT and a T off the flop. I lost. Oh well.

And....I'm done. The blinds and ante (1000/2000 and 150) dropped me to under 5k. I was dealt AQo and decided it was time. All numbered cards come up and I lose to a pocket pair.

I finished 80th out of 1378. $2 to enter and I get back $5.51.

How did everyone do in the freeroll?

Worst I've done. Called an all-in early with 2-pair.... pair of 3s showing on the board. The guy I called was sitting on pocket 3s. (Yeah, 4 of a kind) That would do it.
