I am a forwards trainer...so I finally caved and looked for another forward training, I have 21 y.o. excellent striker who as much as I like him, be sold off at any time...

due to an injury this week to one of my strikers, I got 4 strikers to play in my league game...thus I was left with two strikers left over (I play 3-4-3 in both leagues), so I hunted for a guy who would be close to popping, and I think I've found him...

Pedro Dill (23096396)
17 years, passable form, healthy
A nasty fellow who is calm and upright.
Has disastrous experience and wretched leadership abilities.

Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 54 000 US$
Wage: 760 US$/week
Owner: Ultra Nox
Warnings: 0

Stamina: weak Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: wretched
Winger: poor Defending: poor
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: wretched

Career Goals: 0
Career Hattricks: 0
League goals this season: 0
Cup goals this season: 0

Looking at his assessed value, and the fact that he is just a last week youth pull, this guy should be close to popping solid...I know the PM could throw it off, but I don't think by much...

Observe

Tudor Lazăr
88 000 US$, 17 years, excellent form
Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities

Stamina: wretched Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: poor
Winger: poor Defending: passable
Scoring: solid Set Pieces: poor

or

Branko Manenica
109 000 US$, 18 years, solid form
Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities

Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: poor
Winger: wretched Defending: poor
Scoring: excellent Set Pieces: poor

So I'm hoping for a quickpop...then I have to decide whether to keep him or sell this guy

Gary Grewar
213 000 US$, 21 years, passable form
Has wretched experience and weak leadership abilities

Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: poor
Winger: poor Defending: inadequate
Scoring: excellent Set Pieces: passable

How much training has Gary gotten? Seems like you could get him up to Formidable before you should sell him.

That's the thing, Gary is probably turning formidable by the end of the season, if not by the start of the next...not that far off...I'm probably hoping/better of that Dill pops to solid so I can sell him off shortterm...

dola, Plus Gary was one of my first acquistions for like 19k...but he's been getting into form trouble lately...but I guess the difference between excellent and formidable is mucho much...

Pedro didn't pop but I am still adamant with my belief that he will at some point...so now I have to decide to play the 17 y.o. or play the 21 y.o. My belief is that Dill has a greater potential value than Grewar, so I'm guessing that it would be best to sell Grewar even though popping to formidable shouldn't be too long off (probably by the end of the season)...

Ummm... not if he is really close. You will lose a lot of money selling him now, considering you only want to fast pop Dill. A solid sale isn't anything compared to how much more a formidable is worth compared to an excellent...

I would have to remember when Grewar popped, but I'm thinking more along the lines that Dill could be excellent before the end of the season, making formidable easy by sometime midseason next year, and thus a greater profit potential...but I'm definately on the fence right now.
