According to CBS, we'll be seeing much more of this in the AFC Title Game and the Super Bowl "you're going to see a lot of it the next two games [AFC Championship and Super Bowl] because we'll have it at both games. Give it a chance and look for all the things you don't usually see. My suspicion is that most viewers will grow to love it."

Overall, I don't like it. It's great for replays, but for live TV viewing I like watching from the 50 yard line much better. When I go watch a HS or College game, watching from the End Zone doesn't bother me, but on TV the players are so much smaller that I find I can't really follow the play as well. Any thoughts?

For replays it is great, especially for looking at blocking, but for live plays I just find it disorentating. You have no sense of scale or perception when it is used.

If it's the camera angle I'm thinking of I like it a lot. I like watching the plays unfold.

Is this like the one they use a lot on "Edge NFL Matchup"?

Yes. I believe they used it mostly on kickoffs last weekend

Yeah I only like it for a replay every so often. When the XFL had all those messed up camera angles for game action, it was really hard to watch (yes I watched a few games). As long as they don't go overboard on things, it is ok.

If i'm thinking right, this is the camera angle that the XFL pioneered right?
The angle they used last Saturday I didn't like at all but I think that's because the camera was too far away from most of the plays. Unless I'm dellusional I think i've seen the same camera used but closer or higher to the line of scrimmage that doesn't give such a weird vantage of the play unfolding. I guess what I'm saying is that I dont mind that camera being used but it has to be in the right spot and probably should be used in the pre season as the article states instead of just whipping it out for the Post Season, I know if I see it too many times on Sunday I'm gonna get annoyed.
