Just throwing ideas out to improve the appeal:

There's already a thread on changing the "starter's name" on the threads.

Is there any way we can put who's online back on the top. I like to know who else is hanging out, and it seems too far out of the way at the bottom. Anything else?

Naw... I LOVE this new board change... maybe it's only me though ;).

I've wanted "Quick Reply" for like... forever (at least it seems that way :D).

We've had quick reply for nearly a year now...

yeah, but now it works every time.

Weird. I never had any problems with it.

One slight thing that might be nice to change is to make the links in the Yellow skin a color other than black. Yeah, they're underlined but they are so much easier to spot when they're blue...

I wish they put the time and dates of each response back.

I 2nd that emotion, it's annoying to scroll all the way down to see who's online. If I get Carpel Tunnel I'm gonna sue.

They are there- just look above your name.

I've noticed everything is still there- it's just a matter of finding it and getting used to new stuff. Took me forever to see if the poster of something was online.

The site is MUCH MUCH MUCH slwoer from home now on my dial-up line... That is not an improvement for me. (Desperately waiting for DSL to be available)

Make the "online" indicator to the left of a message bigger and easier to decipher.

I'd still like to see some space between messages and signatures. It's hard to see where one ends and the other begins.

I really like the new board. Although moving Who's online back up to the top would be an improvement.

I wish that we would all get along with each other, no swearing, and that this would be a beacon for what an internet forum could be instead of a slanderous hole.

thats wierd alf. I use dialup now, and I havent noticed a giant change. The site is a little sluggish, but not terribly annoying.

It seems like you can't change thread titles at all after you post, unless you're an admin. Not sure if this is an option you can enable, but on the previous version you could at least change it that day.

No...we've never been able to edit thread titles.

I recall being able to do so as long as it was the same day you posted. You just changed the post title and it changed on the forum.

Not since we migrated to VBulletin.

I guess I stand corrected. Still would be a nice feature.
