Ok, not really all that bad, but my brand new IM trainee (Passable PM/Defense) went down to a 6 week injury in his first ever match on my team. He's 17, and I already have 10 doctors (stupid injuries to my old guys), so I don't expect him to be out longer than like 4 weeks. However, what do I do in the meantime? I have a 24 yo Winger with Passable PM who I could play as IM in friendlies, but that doesn't seem great...should I pick up a 17 yo mid-passable and try to get him to bump before my trainee gets back, or what do I do?

bumping the a new trainee wouldn't be such a bad idea. What do you other 3 Wingers look like?

One's 31, and my two backups are pretty ridiculously bad youth pulls. I think both are 21 and Inadequate PM.

Do you have any money to buy other wingers?
If you're training winger, you probably don't want that 31 year old, anyway...

If you decided to pick up a short term trainee, stay away from 17 yos. You can get a much cheaper player who is 18 or 19 and will train at virtually the same rate. The older will not make you as much money on the market when he pops, but 17yos player prices drop the most from the beginning to the end of the season.
