View Full Version : Our second little bundle of love, all 8 pounds 13 ounces of it...

...was born on Thursday at 11:26 eastern time. :)

Mommy and baby are doing great. Mommy was amazing, doing it all without any plain medication, or epidural. She amazes me...

As I said in the subject, 8 pounds 13 ounces, and 20 inches long. I'll post a pic when I finish the roll today and get it developped, as we don't have a digital camera... Now I'm getting ready to go back to the hospital... See ya all later, got some daddying to do :) I had almost forgotten that magical feeling of holding your newborn son close to your chest and feel him breath calmly... Life is good right now :)

PS: sorry for crossposting this here, but I have many friends in that Hattrick forum that I'm not so sure go read the General Discussion area ;)

edit: in my frenzy to post something, I forgot to say one thing: it's a boy! :) Name will be Matthew

Richard, c'est 3.95kg et 51cm je crois... merci pour les félicitations, bébé et maman se portent très bien...

And now I read your signature and I go "hmmm, is he sure he really wants to bring Champagne, might wanna bring extra blankets for his benchwarmers, heck it was -47C with the windchill yesterday!!!" ;)

Thanks everyone! :)

Just got back from the hospital, where I spent the whole day, since 8:00 am this morning. L'il dude is in great shape, very aware and surprisingly calm, i.e. not much crying, like big crying. This is nice :) Mommy is recuperating but in good shape too...

Kiddo's supposed to come back home on sunday morning and experience his first Pats game with daddy on Sunday afternoon :)

Sounds like a good day FM. Have fun even if the hated Colts remain unstopable.

We will see about that... :p

One thing's certain, an AFC team has to win the Super Bowl. The NFC just isn't up to par...

Agreed. I'd like to see the Pats win the Superbowl, but if the Colts manage to do it I won't complain much. At least they would give me a reason to start a riot downtown.

That was my first reaction when I saw the weight and size of Matthew...then again I was born itty-bitty and "on the line" of "too small to leave the hospital" and now I'm 6' tall.....(granted, my younger brother and sister were both born bigger than I was and now are both taller than me). :D

Either way, congrats FM! :)
