It is a known error. It is in the system updates or whatever in the top right corner.

I don't see it in there. Should I assume that the friendly that his in the match listing will happen and I should just keep cancelling new challenges?

I'd leave the new challenges alone. Unless it seriously seriously seriously bothers you. If you have a friendly in the match listing, don't worry about it.

I had problems with friendly too. I wanted to accept a friendly earlier against an international team that had the brains to challenge me at my home stadium. Instead, I play some other international team that didn't feel like spending 2 seconds to see it would have been better to play at my place.

It just wouldn't update/accept my accept of the first game.. wierd.
