Many have wondered if there will be a Memorial Fund for Coach Venable and son Bill. The family has decided to set up a Scholarship fund at Tucker High School in the Venable name. If you are interested in contributing, please send or bring by a check made out to Tucker High School. The address is:

To follow-up here, we presented two $1,000 scholarships to Tucker seniors yesterday at honors day. The first was to a girl on the swim team with better than a 4.0 GPA and active in a number of student service organizations. The second was to a guy on the basketball team who will go to Vanderbilt this fall.

Right now we're set up to provide scholarships for at least the next 20 years. Thanks to anyone here who helped make that happen.
