I have been playing a career in TCY for a few years now, and was a proud owner of FOF: The Fourth Edition. I exported the drafts in that format.
Tonight, I broke down and bought FOF 2004. Is there any way I can get those draft files to import into 2004?
Sorry if this has been answered; I ran a search and came up empty, just a bunch of analysis threads on drafting.

If you have the end of year save files from TCY still, you could reload them, export in FOF2k4 format, and be on your way, but if you don't have the end of year saves, you're probably out of luck.

It's possible to convert them, but it's a little complicated. Basically you open them in the draft file editor I wrote, copy the data to an Excel sheet and do some transformations. If I remember correctly there were three extra columns that had to be added (TCY stats), hometowns and colleges had to be converted from names to numbers and player heights should be in inches rather than feet + inches. The details are in the FOF2k4 help files. There's also the vague possibility of a future utility that does this...
