I guess I accidentally hired a couple economists instead of psycologists like I wanted... I can't even begin to express how disappointed I am. To lose $1m over some so small. This completely wrecks my plans for the future and makes this season a total waste. Now I can't afford the keeper I was planning to buy. With the U20's bogus loss, a +5 injury to a U20 midfield, and my loss Sunday Hattrick really isn't enjoyable for me right now. In the two years I've played I've never been so disappointed with this god-forsaken game.

I hired too many coaches once, when I first started. The penalty there was equally severe. I think a fair argument could be made that in both cases, the penalty does certaintly not fit the offense.

I had 10. I meant to hire 3 psychs, but I guess they were economists.

So much for a supernatural keeper... I'm hoping it was a bug since it happened twice. Maybe I can get a GM to remove one of them. It seems like there should be some sort of warning. I mean an extra economist wouldn't even make up for his salary, yet the penalty for him 400x his salaray.

Yes. At first I thought it might have been one for each update. However, I know I didn't see the bright red secretary message when I logged in this afternoon. I've never hired over 10 of anything before, I'm not sure why I would have been sued twice for it. Hoping it's a bug for my crappy team's sake.

This really sucks.. :( The penalty is way too much. Something like this can happen a lot. I'd think that the fine would be this high if you hired, say, 10 people too many or something. When it's less likely that it's a mistake. Maybe even raise it to something like 11, since you know no one is going to try to buy 11 of any one person. (All of this is at one time). Or if the total is above 20 or something.. if above 10, warn at least.. :(

like I was telling my buddy TP, I tried to hire 10 docs once and I got an error saying that you can't hire more than 9. So I hired 9 more... I didn't realize that I had already hired 9 from that first try. So I had 18 docs. I got hit once and then had to hire 8 docs... I was so mad at myself!

That is definitely a harsh penalty. Just out of curiosity, does it seem to be a percentage of your total funds?

Odd to see it twice but (a single) 472 000 might be a "better" penalty to take than losing a week of training (your penalty for having too much of other specialists).

A GM removed one of the suits, so I feel a bit better about it now. Nearly 500k is to a lot to lose for nothing in return, but I guess I lose more on the trainee I bought this season that turned out to be a bust. :)
