On Monday the 26th, I will be going in for skull base surgery, specifically to remove a growing tumor on my acoustic nerve. I will be in the hospital for 3-4 days and then 2 weeks of recovery.

Thank you all, including those who PM'd me, for your prayers and thoughts. I knew it was going to be rough and it was (and still is). The surgery lasted 10 hours and thankfully there were no complications, esp. of the types associated with this type of surgery. I was able to leave the hospital on Friday after spending two days in intensive care and then two more in a more normal room. Each day I seem to be getting a little bit better but still have a long ways to go. The doctor has authorized me to take up to 6 weeks off but I don't know when I will be fully recovered. Thank you again and blessings to all of you.
