I remember last Summer when 3ric was very, very close to going bankrupt and he was afraid to lose his team, that shocked me as well at the time...

Nice to see Canada has now over 1600 active teams, 1615 to be exact. More than Mexico, nice :)

Wow, that is an impressive number of potential managers awaiting teams!!
I wonder (and perhaps some of our European friends here can answer this), how people there find out about HT. It seems that a lot of people in this fed know about it through somebody who played FOF and got hooked on HT, spreading the disease...

Personally, I accidentally found HT while doing a google search to find soccer fantasy games.

But with so many Europeans playing (and wanting to play) HT, is HT linked from other European sports sites? Or is word of mout so popular there?

That's what I was thinking Robb. I bet at least 50% of those are just planned fronts to assist their other HT team.

I was on the waiting list for awhile this year when I was worried about losing my team (as FM mentioned above) and I eventually got the new team, but since I managed to stick around with Bananskruv, I deleted those emails and never logged in with that other name. I'm sure owners in the same situation do the same, thus adding to the waiting list.
