Relegated to VI

After the last lost vs my direct rival, i'm oficially going down to series VI.
The promotion to V came too early for us, on the first year and without me having any experience in HT, this has been my first full season (took the team in VI with 6 weeks to the end and managed to win my series but lose almost all the training as i didn't knew about it). Now i will go back to VI, recover some money and keep my PM traning as i have some good young prospects (solid and excelents PM), all this with the hope of comming back to V stronger.
Is there any way now to see to which VI group am i going to be demoted?

Not really. Hatstats is nice, but I don't think there's a Spanish version. You could try and figure yourself...but I'd hope you have better use of your time. :)

I was relegated last season to VI, after coming in div V a game into the season and not having any clue what I was doing.
Now I have clinched my division in Div VI already, will have over 1000 supporters by the end of the season and with the 10% addition for promotion, added onto my stadium, have 2 trainees ready to pop formidable, have a passable/poor coach, etc.
I hated getting demoted, but it really was the best thing for me in the long run. I got my feet under me and I think I can compete in most div V leagues (especially after i sell my 2 formidable pops)
my point is, dont get in too bad of a mood for getting demoted. it should pay off big in the long run if you play your cards right.

Icy, I suppose you could always do a 'billy madison' (named after our brilliant member who had the original idea...), that is let your current team die and apply for a new one, hoping that new team will be in div V.

Don't think you were around at that time, was at the end of last hattrick season, but we had a lot of fun at the time... at mr billy's expense I'm slightly ashamed to say...

I'm sure the threads are still around, if anybody cares to dig them up...(i'm just too lazy... :) )

After reading these comments, I'm absolutely certain I don't want to promote after a mere nine games in Div VI.

My plan is to make the qualification game (if I can. OUt of my hands now as the others have to beat the top team in one its last two games) and then PIC it so I guarantee a loss. I'd like the extra income, and I'm assuming the Div V team will fight like hell to stay up.

Just as a caveat...some (maybe a lot...not really sure) Div V teams really suck. So if you have half a clue, you might need to play trainees or B-Teamers to make sure you lose.

Ha, i specificially want back in that division. i need to get some paybacks for all the times i got beat. Now its my time to hand out the beatings ;)

Nah, i don't want to apply for a new team, i like mine, also in Spain you start in VII not in V. I have a very good team for VI, as all my players are at least solid on his primary skill, even have one excelent PM trainee. To go back is a good thing as i was struggling in V until the last games where my team improved. This following year in VI i should dominate and make good cash from it.

Yeah, I'm worry about that. I'll need to scout and perhaps play my coach in the game, if needed.

I would promote if possible. You hear all the horror stories, but the truth is that most V series are a cakewalk if you know what you're doing. Most people are in V for a reason (new and recent teams excepted) and it isn't because they have a great understanding of the game. If you get a qualifier definitely take time to look at the teams in the league you'd promote to.

yeah, if you get a qualifier, that is perfect. because you know what division you will be going into. just look over the teams and see what kind of ratings they put up. if you think you can compete and not place 7th or 8th. i say go for it. most qualifiers against div 6 teams seem to be bot teams anyway.
my post about getting relegated to div 6 being a good thing doesnt mean i wouldnt have chosen to stay in div 5 if i would have had a choice :) it just worked out best in my situation. i was auto demoted and didnt have a choice. this past season was boring and required no managing skill to win any games. so i just focused on the next season and getting my team stable. trust me, if i would have had the choice to stay in div 5 and not get to focus on getting my team straightened out, i would have in a second. div 5 was a ton more fun that div 6.

I'm stuck in the 2nd toughest Div.V series...last year I toyed with the idea of being relegated to divVI (U.S.) and smacking some bots...but I toughed it out...and I am looking at at least placing 3rd at best (it will all be decided by the last game).

Relegation is tough, you lose members, but everything else becomes a clean slate...I think you'll do fine if you are automatically relegated, but if you have a qualifier, do your best to stick it out in your division...I had two million dollar youth pulls and now I can say that I'm becoming a dominant force in my series...a little luck and of course all the knowledge you've learned from this site and you'll be holding your own...

Let me add to those who dropped a division their 1st season, It happened to me, I dropped to VI., Licked my wounds got my finances in order, decided on my training, built my Arena, came back to V. and didn't do too bad. A demotionisn't always a bad thing.

Thanks for the info. I did not realize I would know which league I'd be going into. There's little data on Division VI available. But if I can scout out where I'd go, I'll definitely ask for advice on this board. An easy V series would be OK with me.

be careful...ive seen a couple D.6 teams that could be powers in d.5 already...like how protozoa of d.5 would win d.4 right now...just hope you dont go into a division with a bunch of solid squads and get stuck in d.6 for awhile

i'm about to promote to div 5 (one more win or two draws) in just my first full year... there's not a chance that I wouldn't do it, OG... just my $.02.

Icy is in Spain, which is a much deeper league than the U.S., so I'd guess their division V is a bit better than ours. Too, you can be unlucky and catch a strong series; I wouldn't call USA V.4 representative, but there's always a chance you'd end up there and go right back down.

What I'm trying to say is, don't take the comments so far as representative, in the average USA division V series you should have a decent shot at staying up. You should have a clue what you're doing by now, and you have a great resource here for help.

be careful...ive seen a couple D.6 teams that could be powers in d.5 already...like how protozoa of d.5 would win d.4 right now...just hope you dont go into a division with a bunch of solid squads and get stuck in d.6 for awhileprotozoa's a defense trainer who usually plays a 5-3-2, so I'd guess they get more than their share of WTF games. Too, they were stuck behind RH Crew last season, who were putting up obscene ratings in their cup games this season and I think will promote up to III (and might very well go up to II after next season).

Well, I still need for one of the rather clueless teams in my league to rise up and beat the abandoned league leaders--or at least tie them. Otherwise I can win out and still be the same one point short.
