I would buy Lars but his secondaries suck :P

...oh yeah... and I don't have that kind of money... or the resources to pay his wage, but that's beyond the point.

The stupidity of training those "dirty" players up that high astonishes me. But hey Im not paying their wages.

PS dirty = useless secondaries

i can just see it now, some team in the top flight picks him up, wins their first 10 league matches and gets to the cup semifinal, and then goes bankrupt and folds :)

My god...heres a shocker if i havent seen one...

Peter Martinsson Burvik BK UTSA Jay Hawk 10 613 000 US$ (28 174 000)
Lars Lundhtorp Burvik BK Domherrarna 10 200 000 US$ (50 202 000)

UTSA Jayhawk is a d.3 team in indonesia, while Domherrarna is d.4 sweeden...but i never would have guessed martinsson would sell for more...damn that was a wakeup call...they were also only the 5th and 7th respectivly for highest of the past WEEK...and Suomi national teamer was first, while three nobodies were also abover peter...sad sad sad...

Even more interesting on Martinsson is that he was sold after only one month at a $1.3 million loss:

2/8/2004 Burvik BK UTSA Jay Hawk 10 613 000 US$ (28 174 000 US$)
1/9/2004 Puacas Änglar Burvik BK 11 965 000 US$ (32 307 000 US$)

No wonder Burvik BK is floundering in sixth place in the fourth division.

He made around $800,000 on Lundhtorp, so it was a wash, more or less.

Check out his list of transfers. He's still got a guy he bought for $10 million on the roster.

edit>>Burvik is a joke squad. He's only got 12 players, two of whom are injured. Not only did not win a single game with his two Divines in the lineup, he didn't even score.

Check out that drop in value over one month for mrtinsson...he dropped 4 mil in a matter of weeks...i dont even have a guy valued at 4 mil...my whole team is only at 5-6 mil...

So the skills he lost in one month are equivalent to 80% of your team's ability (at least as measured by $$).

Wow.

The drop in value was probably form-related I'd imagine.

As for the prices, as skills go way up, the price paid levels off (and even drops). Having a divine mid looks nice, but the wages would SEVERELY hurt even top teams. That's why Martinsson went for more.

You'll likely see magical guys going for the same, or even more, than some divines. Not that there's THAT many of any of these players, but the price paid definitely levels off.

(Exception being keepers: divine keepers don't have 300k/week wages, so go for considerably more than lower levels. Possible other exception being wings.)
