Any ideas? How can I make the game exciting again? Whats a good way to go out?
My team: 72189
I have 2.1 mil in cash.
How to make the game exciting:
That's hard to say. I don't know what drew you in. Spend some of that friggin money. Buy a U-20 guy. That's exciting! I get to watch an extra match each week!

I got drawn in by getting into cm. I guess I still like it...it's just...I dunno.
Are any u-20's for sale right now?
Best way to find out? Go to each countries U-20 team site. Check the players list. Look for the $ signs. That's how I got my guy.
I haven't played CM. I've wanted to, though.

I'd like to have a U-20er but then i see inad with prices like 800k and I shake my head.
You make me happy, illini. Apparently I got a deal. :)

Get promoted into IV.19? I think that it may become a little more interesting when you don't win every week. If you dominate your Div V opponents all the time, it can get rather boring.
I doubt that. I miss victories. :)
Try losing every game in DIII.

No Ardent - try to get a win and suprise one of your series foes - imagine their shock when that sure win they thought they were going to get doesn't appear. You should MOTS this week in fact - they won't be expecting it.

HT is fastly losing its appeal to me too but its more along the lines of the game hating. I have three starters in wretched form, havent pulled youth worth anything in ages and i ran an illegal formation (on accident) that caused me to lose trianing (and i lost the match). I guess it all adds up.

start tracking everything that concerns your team, preferably with an excel sheet, that should keep you immersed :)

Yes! the HT-arena website is a good idea too, although I'm running out of time to update mine, shame on me :)
Another thing to have fun with is plan a training switch. I'm currently planning a switch to winger training and this has kept me very, very interested in a whole new group of trainees. They are currently going through a crash course in playmaking training, before going to winger training full time :)

organize your players into quality teams
renumber your players once a week to improve moral
cut the training budget to zero and demand that the players train twice as hard
create a power point presentation to discuss why your team is spending too much time not training

You can sign up for a spot for your team and from there, it's pretty easy to update your team's website...
You can visit my team's website at: http://www.ht-arena.com/CDFC

Or you could visit MY website at ht-arena and fix it since I don't really know how and the site sucks.

Aside from "you can write a text here (4)", what needs fixing? You get at that bit from the "Parameters" menu item under the "Configuration" heading, BTW.

I suppose I should have said "fix it up" instead. What I meant was I have no cool menu or pages or much of anything for that matter. I MAY be able to figure it out from looking at other teams sites and a bit of trial and error, but I haven't had much time to mess with it yet. It is pretty pitiful as ht-arena sites go.

Due to this thread, I've got a new page up on HT-Arena. Nothing fancy, but a nice corner of cyberspace for my team. If you visit, drop a note in my guestbook. Thanks!
