If you're going to throw a Pro Bowl party, make sure you invite Fritz and his pet Trout.

Umm, throwing a party doesn't exactly indicate that he doesn't have a life? Turning an otherwise worthless day into a fun social activity seems pretty sociable to me?

Cmon, everyone knows nobody gives a shit about the Pro Bowl. Thats the brilliance of the idea. It would be my own special tradition.

Well, if you put it that way...
If you have a keg of decent beer, I'll be there.

Hrm..If you bring out "real beer" for the Superbowl, like some sort of Heiniken or better, I'd say the ProBowl is definately a NattyIce/Busch type of day. I was thinking of calling up a pizza place today and see if they have any specials for the "big game."
Seriously, though, they should play the pro-bowl in the continuous states, and preferrably in markets without pro Football. Its the only chance some people would actually get to see a pro game.

until this year I had people over for pro bowl, but the new time format sucks ass if you live in the east.

Good idea. I'm sure all the players would be thrilled to have their good seasons rewarded with a week long trip to Montanta in February.

Doh, forgot about the month.
With the way everyone shuns actually going to the probowl...."sorry I cant attend, i have a hangnail," I half expected Quincy Carter to be out there.

It was aired on french television for the first time this year.
(24 hour delay though).
It was really good to watch, 55-52 WOW.
the NFC scoring 25 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to comeback.
I know nobody gives a shit about the final result but I do enjoy watching this final game of the year with all of the best players on the same field at once.
And when the spectacle turns out to be exciting as it happened this year when players took pride in going all out in the 4th quarter to win "1st-place" money and -as Keith Brooking says- "winning for the pride of your Conference, it all makes up for a quality All-Star game.
