I'll be gone for a few days. My grandmother passed away this morning. I'm leaving now for Bentonville, and the arrangements aren't set so I'm not sure when I'll be back.

For the religious among us I'd appreciate your prayers for my mom and the rest of my family. My grandmother had been in hospice care for a few weeks, so it didn't come as a surprise, and in some ways I guess it's a relief that she's not in any more pain. It feels like there should be more to say, but I guess that's how these things go.

I've been calling friends and it feels weird leaving this message for people I've never met, but I guess that's a positive thing about the internet. May God bless you and your families.

ausonny, although I've never met anybody from FOFC in the real world, I've often refered to many them as being "good friends of mine" in my regular conversations. Don't feel weird...

I don't pray much, but rest assured you and yours will be in my thoughts.

Take care, ausonny. You know that there are plenty of friends here within the FOFC/HT community. You and your family will be in my prayers.
