.....they've been playing for about a month, bidding on one of my original players:

Omar Pascale (7413080)
31 years, poor form, healthy
I speak Italiano!

A pleasant guy who is temperamental and infamous.
Has weak experience and weak leadership abilities.

Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 20 000 US$
Wage: 810 US$/week
Owner: Jacksonville Kickers
Warnings: 1

Stamina: passable Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: passable Passing: weak
Winger: weak Defending: poor
Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: weak

Career Goals: 6
Career Hattricks: 0
League goals this season: 0
Cup goals this season: 0

I hope Pascale can give something to them, that he'll no longer give me,
playing time. :D
He was an extra body with no place to play, although he did play midfield and forward in his early days with my team.

I have a somewhat off topic question, but why does he say he speaks italian when his nationality if the USA? Is there a way to change their language?

Also, when I first started I purposely bougth cheap 30 year old passable players to fill out my team until I could buy descent ones. It not a bad move to begin with.

I have an English player who says "I speak Irish". The offbeat part is his name is John Dunne, like the English poet (at least I don't think Dunne was Irish as were so many 'English' poets.)

and 30 year old Weak exp players can be new team's best players.

I guess his name is italain? I gave him a quote long time ago, and it said:
"I speak italiano".

Is there a way to change their language?"Immigrants" are part of the HT player universe, and they happen in every country. You don't get to choose a player's heritage, it's set at the time the player is created.

I have two Americans who speak Chinese on my team (Shuo Shou-Feng and Huang Kien), and I had at least one Spanish-speaking youth pull that I sold (Luis Verdevalle).
