Playing wingers towards middle

Does this boost MF rating while lowering D? How much, a level? Those players would use their PM skill instead of winger right?

Now yesterday, you wanted to boost defense and lower midfield. Why the change?

Edit: I didnt answer the first question, sorry. No, it raises Midfield, and lowers that wing's attack. If you were playing your winger offensive before this, you shouldnt notice any defensive drops on that wing.

Well, it lowers the defense too. But most wingers don't have much defending anyway.

Well this post was about my upcoming match but I won't need to do it since we should both post the same MF ratings so possession will be close. I thought he was going to be a level better. The 5-3-2 was for my league match in 2 weeks. Gotta build up the 5-3-2 in friendlies before trotting it out in a league match.
