interesting game. I just downloaded the demo. Its like Blood Bowl, only real time. I had quite a bit of fun with the demo, but it still needs work. It could be a lot of fun if done correctly. Anyone else seen this game?

I loved the idea of the field with the holes in it. Nothing like falling down into space...

Ragone,

I've been pestering EA about that for two years now. I wonder if that's why they stopped responding to my emails?

they wouldn' need to add much to make me happy.. slightly enhanced graphics.. maybe a few more teams and a season mode.. with the possibility of a career mode down the line :)

If you didn't notice there is a career mode of some sorts.
From the site:
"A career mode which implies, over and above playing matches, the creation and management of a team during a championship or a cup. Beyond the classic game-play of trading players, hiring star players, pop-pom girls or a physio, the successful management of a team hinges on the individual progress of a player through the aggregation of his various experience."

Look at all the features, pretty cool:

I like the farting trolls. And the kill the ref play. Even Mutant League Hockey was fun, but not as much.

I was reading their boards. The developers seem cool and those involved in the testing seem pretty into the game. I know I plan on getting it on release and setting up a league.

From what I read you can play in Turnbased 5 /15 or something. WHere you give your guys order for 5 seconds of play. This would make it even more blood bowl like. Then there is realtime mode "rts" style and RTS pause style, "like Balduars Gate".

I'm getting into this :)

I am already excited. I started programming a Blood Bowl game for PC at least 2 times in the last 10 years... Never ended with anything acceptable.

Keep going! What do you need? Money?

Take the Blood Bowl code and code in career play. I'll love you forever.

Anyone tried

http://fumbbl.com/

It's an online Blood Bowl league that uses Java for the game.

There is actually a bit of a career mode in the demo. Its sort of setup like Englads soccer system with different divsions you work your way up through.

I haven't played in a while.. (I used to be one of the commish team when it was at it's peak..

But if we can arrange a time around my schedule/committments, I'd be willing to play anybody here ;)
