Training, training time is near
Time for laughter and time for cheer
We've been good, but we can't last
Hurry, training, hurry fast

Want a keeper to stop a shot,
Me, I want Jerome to pop!
We can hardly stand the wait
Please, training, don't be late

Good luck, everyone! :)

Well ain't that the truth. I want a keeper to stop a shot. Especially when he's valued over 3 friggin million dollars.

Good luck with Jerome ;)

If I had a pop this week I'd probably have a heart attack

wow Ardent, slow news day at the office, huh? Isn't training only happening late tonight for you guys? ;)

Me, training happens at noon HT time, so 6am eastern, so it's only tomorrow morning that I'll know if I get the uber training week I'm hoping for.

Here are the players I could see pop in playmaking tomorrow:
Jon Riser, 20yo, outstanding +8
Patrik Kvarning, 20yo, outstanding +8
Hubert Gortemaker, 20yo, formidable +9
Miao Thanh-Tuan, 19yo, excellent +8
Jim Hendrix, 17yo, weak +3.5

Jimi played one week at inner mid during Brigg's injury and has been playing winger otherwise. I bought him as a "virgin" youth pull, so he could pop anytime :)

I might have an 18 year old striker pop to formidable... but probably nothing too exciting this week. Hate when I miss training and have to check it (gasp) a few hours later, but I've got poker to play tonight.

I have two midfielders who are close to poping to outstanding, one of which will be sold when he does so I can buy a solid coach.

unless there is some kind of hattrick miracle, the only possible pops for me would be my 2 passable youth pulls from recent weeks and 1 other guy that are all still "virgins" as Frogman so eliquently put it ;)

The GREAT: Dixon popped to World Class in GK and is ALSO now in excellent form.

The BAD: 5 players FORM UP (5 levels)/6 players FORM DOWN (7 levels)
NET FORM: -2

The UGLY: Trainee #2 didn't change value at all. Stupid git.

17 year old FINALLY bumped to solid scoring, as expected

Two pleasant surprises:
#3 IM goes from weak to passable form.
23 year old, who I didn't expect would be popping for another few weeks because I assumed the worst, bumped to magnificent scoring.

You might want to check back on the player page. My main didn't update value at the same time as my other trainee, checked past games to make sure I hadn't screwed up, went back and wala, value increase.

The good: 6 up, 1 down in form among starters, including an outstanding middie
The bad: My offensive CD was the one who went down
The unknown: Huang Kien moved to +1 in the injury update, but did that happen before or after training?

I had a guy who I just bought and played forward pop to inad playmaking, though other than that I got nothing. Should hopefully get an outstanding pop next week.

Did have +7/-3 form though.

No PM pops, but we did get a +12/-1 form boost and a near 700K gain in team value from $8.9 million to $9.6. I'm praying that I won't see an inverse form week next time, especially if I have a qualifier next Sunday.

Man now my guys really want to hurt him. I think I'll have to use my all evil lineup.

For the second straight week I had an 18 year old pop to formidable, this time it's American striker Perry Purcell. This time, though, I think I'll hold onto him and train him up to outstanding.

Darling popped to solid scoring. Rather disappointing I couldn't make that happen last week. Sigh. At least the general training last week improved my form droop.

But General Training??? Have you lost your mind, AE?

By a mistake on my part, I played Peris at forward and Safta at wing. I had a few options.

1. Continue training scoring. Peris gets some training, and Safta misses out. I could have done this.

2. Train passing for the week. This was a much more enticing opportunity since I know Peris is very close to excellent in passing. Safta and all get training.

3. General. My form was in pretty bad shape. Very bad shape. Urban Igelstad has yet to play a league match for me due to horrible form. Hieu was out with a red card, and Angtorp was injured at the time. My other two possibilities were a poor form excellent scorer or a passable form Darling (mentioned earlier in this thread, a high passable scorer). Angtorp, even if he came off the injury, was in inadequate form.

Don't forget my game against Midwest this past week was terribly important to me. Training general actually helped me. I believe I had a +16 in form and just one drop, and that player was injured (IM Hansson).

This week's training (scoring) didn't result in a high number of form drops either. Actually, two of my starters form went up again. I can't complain at all.

1 unexpected winger pop to inadequate for a 28 yrs old midfielder.
1 experience pop to inadequate of a 28 yrs old forward.

Hubert Gortemaker, 20yo, formidable +9
Miao Thanh-Tuan, 19yo, excellent +8
Jim Hendrix, 17yo, weak +3.5

Of these 5 potential pops, I got 3. Not bad. Patrik Kvarning becomes the first ever Dragon to be brilliant in anything :)

The other two were Thanh-Tuan to formidable, and Gortemaker to outstanding.

That was the good, now the bad... My keeper dropped two levels of form, from excellent to passable, bleh :(

The injury update that happened with training happened before training was finished. One of the players I bought was bruised, healed 2k, then dropped 5k at training, as I was watching it as it happened. Hope that helps.

Mongrel FC's first Formidable (other than stamina that is) - had a PM trainee pop yesterday. YAY!

Form is in the crapper - mainly due to my players being wimpy masochists. They seem to be unable to play through the pain. Cortisone and morphine for everyone!

Form +7/-4

No "pops," but wingback Tyler Willard improved to weak experience (he's 23 years old).

The bad news is that it doesn't look like keeper "Corny" Jernigan will be able to play in the season finale Sunday against the Ramblers. :(
