And then, even when it's done, I'm not sure I'll be certain where I'll end up, since from the look of things, there should be 3 teams in IV that are all undefeated and all have a +73 goal differential... What happens next???

If they go with total goal scored as the next tiebreaker after that, then I should be seeded #2 and go to III.15, averaging 93 or so NSI among active teams (had one walkover)...

I am being demoted back to V after finishing 7th in IV.63 I did show some life late in the season after an horrendous start (0-9-1) by going (3-1-0) down the stretch to finish with 10 points. I was pretty much overmatched and could have used one more season in V where I will be next season.

Brays Bayou FC plays The Matza Men of IV.40. They're a midfield trainer who are likely to beat us by at least one level of midfield and possibly two. I'll likely post better defense and attack ratings, especially considering their central defender will be out on a suspension for accumulation of cards. Brays will be decent health -- starting keeper Huang Kien looks like he'll be ready to go (HT's injury calculator now has him OK for the friendly this week), and other than that I only have one player bruised.

Oh, and I'll have a level of experience on them. Depending on how the chances are divvied up, that could be decisive as it's a pretty good bet we'll get an inexperience event in our favor.

I'll be playing... nobody. I took 2nd and gladly will watch Kaishaku leave for greener pastures. They were clearly the class of this series and they deserve to move up.

Golden Beers finished right behind me with the same 24 points but a -3 goal differential to my +7. They made the most out of their talents as I figured they would be fighting for 6th and don't put up ratings like some of the teams in this series can, but they were coached into 3rd place and I give lots of credit to their owner.

The Oompa_Loompas are an enigma but still placed 4th. They have put up ratings ranging from 81 to 105 throughout the course of the season and should have been challenging Kaishaku for the top spot, not needing a win in the last week to avoid a qualifier.

Stormy_Gales, our inactive team took 5th and will be replaced by New York FC from V.179. They put up ratings in the low to mid 70s

Finally, Iowa, who has a talent for poorly timed MotS's to ruin team spirit and, I suspect, some sandbagging to get a qualifier. They will be facing Lala from V.8. They put up high 70s to mid 80s but I think Iowa, between some holding back and having home field, should dispatch with them.

Lastly we say good bye to last year's promotees, New York Hotspurs and The Warcrabs. The Hotspurs just weren't ready for Div IV but are building and The Warcrabs just didn't quite have enough wins when they needed them and finished two points behind Iowa for the final qualifier. They had a good team, but the problem was that there are 7 good teams in IV.21 and only 6 spots so someone was going to lose out. It makes Golden Beers's third place that much more impressive.

So, anyways, that's what the Hippos have going on and once we see the autopromoters and relegees and the qualification matches, we'll see how next season takes shape.

That's my series (6th place; we should win the qualifier). :)

We're a pretty tough series. I'd expect all of the top 6 to be back. Really, the top 3 are far and away the cream, while Go Mart should be as good as them but isn't. Vampires trains general, I think, so they're a pain in the short-term, but not a long term threat (or really that much of a short term, as their activity is spotty). We're a clear step behind, but are competitive (we beat or tied every team in the series at least once).

Reign looks good, competitive with the top teams; the best NSI teams in the series are defensive studs, so they are vulnerable, though they both seem to be taking steps to correct that.

We also have another FOFC team in the series: Fairfax Fizz! I suspect they're in some trouble next season, tho (as might I be :) ). 3 FOFC teams should be fun.

Maulers are heading up to V.46. A quick look tells me this is an easy series except for Bud Lightski who has finished second two years running. Haven't look for the other auto promote, though. Top three finish looks probably if not easy.

I will be staying in trusty VI.136 where I will hopefully walk all over my competition. Our demotee appears to be a defensive trainer, had his team for a month. The past demotee has been inactive for a month, and the rest are teams that haven't been around for longer than 2 months and a couple bots. With my recent upgrades, I should get inad mf's consitently, provided my attack can capitilize on chances, I should go up next season.

Really, the top 3 are far and away the cream, while Go Mart should be as good as them but isn't.Go Mart was keeper-heavy when they were in my series, and if they hadn't made an investment in midfield midway through last season, I think we would have passed them this season (by we, I mean my team and Flashotcite, and possibly ole as well). I'd imagine they're suffering from the same issues now that they're up in IV... incredible defensive ratings (Lyon is almost certainly in the top 50 for keepers in the U.S. at this point), but soft in the midfield and attack.

Their midfield was excellent at the beginning of the year, then it just died. They looked like series champs the first 7 games, and almost couldn't have been worse the last 7.

And Lyon's incredible, if he's not divine he's next thing to it.

i missed the autopromotion to div 4 by 6 goals and like 10 positions :(
i play a qualifier against this guy. im pretty sure he mots's his last match to try and get a qualifier, but i guess we will find out next week. it should actually be a very close match if he did mots and his TS is shot. it might put him around a solid midfield, which is what i should pull with my current TS and mots'ing.
