I am being promoted to a tough D IV league (IV.13)
I can NSI about low 70's right now in my 3-4-3... I have 1 outstanding middie, and 2 solids (with a solid PM winger)
I have a formidible scorer who should pop to outstanding within 2 more weeks of training.
also, I have 1.2 mil in the bank
my goal is to try and sell the forward, when he is outstanding, and to buy an outstanding middie for around 1.5 mil... (which is just out of reach right now)
I am selling off some scrubs so i can afford 1.5 mil
my question is, do i shop now? or do i wait for my promotion and finish $$$, plus the supporter $$$? I would normally think yes, but wont the economy bump up with everyone else gaining money? players will be more expensive?
any advice?
Is that 1.2 total you have, or 1.2 not counting the extra 200K the bank will let you use?

I'd do it ASAP (before the money updates).
The price will probably jump about 20% when everybody gets their bonus/gets ready for the new season.

If you have money now, I'd buy now. Most people are saving for trainees.

ok guys, thanks for the help, here he is (I am concerned with his personal attributes, he'll get some cards, and i hate unpredictable middies, but i think he was a bargain nonetheless, coming in at $1,399,000)

Just one bit of warning -- that guy is a card magnet.

No kidding, I have a defender not nearly as dangerous as he is that has picked up 15 yellows, and 5 reds (1 straight red, 4 accumulated yellows) in just 49 games that counted. I'm sure he's got another 5-10 yellows in his 18 friendlies.
It's not a bad purchase if he plays more often than not, but I'd pencil in at least one missed game per season, 2 if he plays in your Cup games as well.

its tempting to play him in the cup for the experience, but, maybe he'll sit most of them, i'll need him playing (FWIW, I still think for the price its worth it, and why i got him cheap)
