Did I get ripped off?

I had some extra cash and was trying to upgrade my midfield (best guys are passable at playmaking, best midfield performance I've had is weak). I ended up getting the below guy for 144K:

Peter Glover
48 000 US$, 21 years, disastrous form
Has wretched experience and poor leadership abilities

Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: excellent Passing: wretched
Winger: wretched Defending: poor
Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: wretched


Seemed like a low value for excellent at playmaking, although there's no secondaries to speak of and his form sure is ugly.

This guy is going to be terrible until his form kicks in. Hopefully the move to your team will boost him up. Often guys with terrible form are on teams with poor training programs who don't play their players every week, have few assistant coaches, and low training intensity. A stint on your team could quickly change that

yeah, you just have to wait for his form to come around. i think you got a descent deal. his passing is bad, but he will still help the midfield.

I think that's a great deal, especially if you weren't desperate for an immediate upgrade at that position.

He doesn't have much by way of secondaries and let's face it, his form is abysmal.

But, you got him for dirt cheap. And as has been said, his form will likely increase if you work him into playing weekly with the right number of assistant coaches, and a regular training program. Good deal. :)

If you can stash him away on the bench for a half season then you got him cheap. If you needed a starter who can step in right away, your money would have been better spent elsewhere.
