Hi dear fofcers, this season i ended 2nd on my series, (Spanish VI) so i'll be in the same series for next year, i'm planning my strategies and i would like your advice. I'm a PM trainer and already have some good trainees, i'm thinking on upgrading my stadium as probably next season i will have good chances of winning mostly of my matches as i did this year. My actual stadium has 20k sits, and my supporter base is 1001 members. My actual budget is -150.000

I'm thinking on selling one fo my guys to upgrade my stadium and also to buy a better forward as this year i strugled because not escoring enought when i was the best team on the middlefield.

Here are my trainees:

Jeffrey Stanley

Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities [Technical]

Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous

Albert Landré

Kirill Kurdumov

Juan María Ríomayor

Hasse Ragnström

George Handy

My first thought was to sell Luis Martinez as he is 24 years old, HAM says i can get 500k from him. To upgrade to 40.000 sits i need around 440k so selling Luis Martinez only won't be enought.

My other thought is to sell my best one, Jeffry Stanley as HAM says i can get 1.5M from him. It's a good amount of money, but also i will lose a great future player.

What would you do? Sell my top star and get some new trainees and upgrade my stadium or sell my older player with another young guy not as skilled?

Thanks in advance.

dont sell the outstanding.... sell 2 of the 19 y/o excellents, and replace them with 17 year old inad/passables or some 18 year old solids

edit: what i meant to say is, sell the 24 year old excellent and the 19 year old excellent (or the solid)

I would sell Martinez and Riomayor. At ~500K each or even a little less, minus the 10% taxes... that should still give you enough money to upgrade your stadium and buy a replacement trainee, you might even be able to buy a forward (but I don't know how good of a forward you need.)

If that's not enough to buy your forward, Rangstrom would be the next to go after he hits excellent (21 is getting too old to train well.)

Also when buying trainees, try to buy as young as possible, early in the season. A 17yo inadequate is pretty cheap, and by the time he hits 20 (which most of your trainees are turning) he will be around brilliant, which is about as good as your best trainee. It's all about the long-term...
